This product works, and is a solid, permanent solution to the problem of mounting the old saddle rail style to bikes with very slack seat tube angles. The problem is its ugly and heavy and does not use common mini-tools used for modern bikes.
If you have the old seat, this can be your problem solver, but if you are just now ordering, buy the new model.
